On line dating is a success ! For this wonderful couple that started seeing each other after a few clicks, then the dates just got stronger and the love flowed. One of the best weddings I have had the privilege to cover as a wedding photographer in Dundee, this pair put on a show. With Morag being quite poor with her health it was touch and go if the day was going to happen. The planning was spot on with an array of entertainment to keep guests on their toes most of the day and well into the night.
Woodlands Hotel in Dundee was the venue and the weather forecast was for sun, sun and more sun – so no wet weather planning on my part.
Meeting the girls in their room at the hotel, I arrived early to take all the preparation and detail shots.
The ceremony was started with a film show which Morag created then a lovely ceremony was conducted by Anne McKessock with her partner Callum in traditional highland warrior attire where his broad sword was used for cutting the cake.
Their wedding day unfolded with a mixture of documentary and traditional photography styles
Table and setting decorations were designed by Celebre which were seasonal for a May wedding.
The wedding cakes were the destined by skilled baker Cakes by Momo, who created a three tier cake with a story and a second cake of a fuel tanker truck.
The lovely flowers and button holes were designed by Flowers at Dawn.
Evening entertainment started just after the desserts were placed with the singing waiters and the dance floor was filled with hits from Twist of Fate.
I wish them a huge congratulations and the very best for the future.
